Wallpaper Illustration done for fFurious to celebrate the month of May in 2012.

One of the finalised versions of an illustrated mural done on the first floor of Mori Hostel, the concept was Music Revolution. This was illustrated to show how we experienced music in the 80s, with animated iconic examples such as boom boxes and walking vinyls. Done under fFurious.

The brief was to decontruct visually or conceptually a chosen recipe, reform and rebuild them into a new printed document. Take apart each of the visual components and consider which elements might be interpretated in new ways once they are removed from their original context.

The recipe which I have chosen to deconstruct is titled 'Bones' by Jennifer McLagen. Based on the selected recipes, the keywords within form a narrative of the process of raising a pig for slaughter.

The brief was to do an illustration based on a short chapter or poem. I've chosen to do an illustrated adaption of a poem written by Pablo Neruda. The poem, 'I Like For You To Be Still', is taken from the book 'Twenty Love Stories and A Song Of Despair'.

My interpretation of the poem projects a distant love story between two intangible beings. I used the distance between the moon and the earth to relate to it as a narrative. The different verses of the poetry echoes their sentiments towards each other.

Wallpaper Illustration done for fFurious to celebrate the month of February in 2013.

An illustrated adaption of a short story entitled 'The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas' is written by American author Ursula K. Le Guin. The story is about an alternate world where the citizens of a Utopia world has to make a decision which goes against their morals.

The story was illustrated utilising mixed media such as pens, markers, charcoal and watercolor. I wanted to try a different approach to it, having not done any non-digital illustrations previously.
