In the morning, we had more discussions about the concept in the school library. How the properties of the umbrella would work, for example, rotating of folders causing rain which would add to the flood. This concept was fun to work on and think about as it had many possibilities.

In the afternoon, we had feedback from Mr Andrew regarding the umbrella and flood concept. He felt that the umbrella and flood did not link well together, and it’s best to just concentrate on one of them. This could turn out to be a funny application but still the link must be vital.

There was an intense discussion after that and we had to re-evaluate umbrella, running through all its properties again. There were new additions such as using Velcro to lock it, and also we came up with another store and hide function using means of umbrella. But at this point of time, we were feeling somewhat demoralised and stuck.

Tomorrow morning, we would have to determine whether we would still be sticking to umbrella or using another object.
